SNOOZEBOX OLYMPICS CONTRACT CONFIRMED

Snoozebox have today confirmed a contract for the provision of 320 rooms on a site within Hainault Forest Country Park in Essex. The accommodation provided will be operational between 14 July and 15 August and will include a social and relaxation area, with full catering facilities.

Snoozebox created the overall project at Hainault, which includes the separate provision of additional accommodation of a different style, also by Elements Europe Ltd, who are the manufacturers of the Snoozebox portable hotel product.  Snoozebox identified the site in September 2011, initiated discussions between the parties and successfully conducted the planning process.

Snoozebox has just vacated its site at Windsor Castle Home Park, where it provided 320 rooms to the teams and participants in the highly successful Queen's Diamond Jubilee Pageant.

Simon Brooks-Ward, the director and producer of the Pageant, said: "Snoozebox was the perfect accommodation solution for this important international event, enabling us to house 600 people, inside the grounds of Windsor Castle in luxury en-suite rooms.  From a transportation and security angle, it was also a huge benefit not to have to move this number of people in and out of the venue every day."

Snoozebox currently has units deployed at the Isle of Man TT Races and the Download Festival at Donington Park.  Units will then move on to the Festival of Speed at Goodwood, before deployment at the F1 Grand Prix, the Silverstone Classic and other Silverstone events.
